After our 1st successful Lucid Body workshop last June, master teacher Raniah Al-Sayed will return to Holland in 2026 to share her deep knowledge about the Lucid Body technique.

Lucid Body, originally founded by Fay Simpson in New York City, is a holistic training, based on the belief that self-knowledge is the most important ingredient to your creative process.

Lucid Body aims to break up patterns, habits and blocks within the physical and emotional body, allowing new impulses to be expressed and new behaviours explored.
The seven chakra energy centers will be introduced as tools to differentiate human behavior based on intent.

This workshop is for ALL creatives that want to explore and play with an open mind. From first-timers to experienced Lucid Body people, professionals, non-professionals and students 18+: all feel welcome!
This program will be in English.
The program
Each workshop day consists of an introspective warm-up, connecting physical body to emotional body. This is followed by a range of exercises that challenge the participant to stay emotionally engaged with their physical body while expanding their range of accessible self.
We work individually, in pairs and groups, through improvisation, movement sequences and character development. ​
We work towards emotional elasticity, physical strength, releasing judgement and quieting the censor. With this in motion, we create vibrant, dynamic, fluid, daring artists and healthy individuals.​

Our Lucid Body teacher
Raniah Al-Sayed is a Movement Practitioner and Intimacy Director. Currently she is a faculty member of Shakespeare’s Globe Higher Education Department. She is a Senior Lucid Body teacher with a decade of experience in London Drama Schools, working in institutions such as Arts Educational Schools London, Mountview, Italia Conti, Drama Studio London. In 2019 she began a pathway in Intimacy Direction both in professional theater and as a facilitator in drama schools. She has had the pleasure of crafting moments of Intimacy for large scale immersive productions, small fringe theatres, television comedy, short independent films, and large scale traditional theatre houses.​
